A Bay Area Native, Gabrielle grew up surrounded by natural beauty, and in her early days as a florist, it confirmed her love of all things floral. This passion led Gabrielle to study Landscape Architecture yet while doing so, realized her strong interest in plant material and ultimately earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Horticulture Science from Cal Poly SLO.

 

She was fortunate to have interned at the Filoli Estate in Woodside and later returned as a member of their invaluable garden staff. With her desire to further develop her landscape career, Gabrielle joined a prominent landscape architecture firm to assist with the procurement of plant material and provide design support while working alongside the best of the Bay Area.

 

Challenging herself even further, she went on to work for a landscape contractor to lead their high-end residential estate management department. This experience solidified her relationships with several highly talented landscape architects, arborists, and exclusive clientele.

Twenty-five years later, as the founder of Garden Collab, she still takes great pleasure in the collaboration with others in all phases of the design process from concept to implementation and ongoing management while maintaining the integrity of the design.
